Ball restyled its diving chronograph for this restricted edition

When the Ball View Organization extended membership to Guillaume Nery, who holds several constant-weight free-diving world records, into the Ball Exlporers Club in 2006, it created the choice to link its timepieces to the sport's discipline of free diving. Since then, Ball has created a array of diving watches within its Engineer Master II household, including chronometers and chronographs.

The new restricted edition Engineer Master II Diver FreeFall pays homage in each name and substance to Nery along with the incredible video clip "Free Fall" he created in 2010, filmed by his partner Julie Gautier. In it, Nery performs a base jump into Dean's Blue Hole, the world's deepest known blue hole, located inside the Bahamas. The film is an artistic project created to forge a brand new method to free-diving films.

Ball restyled its diving chronograph for this restricted edition of 500 pieces, choosing a streamlined style that combines the elegance of curves using the strength of a stainless steel 43.8-mm case and black dial. An ETA 7750 automatic movement drives the chronograph with cumulative time measurement of up to 12 hours. A screw-down crown activates the unidirectional internal rotating bezel. The dial attributes hrs, minutes and seconds, and day and date at 3 o'clock.

Twenty-five micro gas tubes illuminate the dial for night-or underwater-reading. Without the need for any external supply of light, these tiny tubes can produce continual light as much as 100 instances much more intense than standard luminescent coatings. The watch is shock resistant to 5,000 Gs, anti-magnetic to 4,800 A/m and water resistant to 1,000 feet. A stainless steel bracelet completes the seamless harmony in the design.

The new Engineer Master II Diver FreeFall, priced at $3,399, is confident to captivate anybody who wants both precision and excellent looks inside a view, regardless of whether for deep dives or shallower pursuits.
